Razan Nassreddine, commissaire artistique
Née d’une famille syro-libanaise, elle est diplômée de lettres françaises de l’Université de Damas, et d’un master 2 en France. Son mémoire, La Syrie et ses artistes : créativité, résistance, porte sur les artistes syriens contemporains et leur contributions aux débuts de la Révolution syrienne. Depuis 2012, elle travaille comme cocommissaire artistique pour l’institution Taswir Project à Berlin, institution internationale pour la recherche artistique.
Razan Nassreddine, born to Syrian-Lebanese family, she is a scholar and curator. She holds a BA in French literature from the University of Damascus, and an MA in Inter-Mediterranean Mediation from the Universities of Paul Valery (Montpellier III), UAB (Barcelone) and Ca’Foscari (Venise) In 2013, she completed her MA thesis with an artistic research project on contemporary Syrian artists in the context of the recent revolution(s), entitled La Syrie et ses artistes: créativité, résistance. She worked as an artistic advisor for the Cultural Diary of Damascus, and curated the Syrian film screenings for the Berlin exhibition KunstStoff Syrien 2014.
Since 2012, she has been acting as co-curator of Taswir projects in Berlin, an international platform for artistic research.
