Die syrische Sängerin Najat Suleiman schloss ihr Studium in den Fächern Gesang und Schlagzeug 1999 am High Institute of Music in Damaskus ab. Als Solosängerin trat sie mit dem Arabic Orchestra des High Institute of Music in Damaskus auf, so unter anderem bei der Eröffnung des syrischen Opernhauses in Damaskus.
