Khaled al-Khani, artiste peintre
Né en 1975 à Hama (Syrie), Khaled Al-Khani a quitté son pays en 2011 pour se réfugier à Paris. Membre de l’Union des artistes à Damas depuis 1998, il est diplômé d’un troisième cycle Beaux-Arts. La liberté est le thème principal de son œuvre. Il a exposé dans plusieurs pays du monde arabe et récemment à La Cité Internationale des Arts à Paris. En 2013, le musée Kunsthalle zu Kiel à Kiel (Allemagne), l’a invité à réaliser des peintures murales dans le bâtiment.
Born in 1975, in Hama, Syria, Khaled Al-Khani left his hometown to seek refuge in Paris, France. He is a member of the Artists’ Union in Damascus since 1998. He is a postgraduate in Fine Arts majoring in oil painting. Freedom is the main theme of his work. He has exhibited in several countries in the Middle East and recently in the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. In 2013, He was invited to complete mural paintings in the building of the Kunsthalle zu Kiel museum in Kiel, Germany.
