Darina Al Joundi, actrice
Née en 1968 à Beyrouth, Darina commence à monter sur scène dès l’âge de 8 ans. Elle est la fille de l’écrivain et homme politique syrien Hassem Al Joundi auquel elle dédie sa première pièce de théâtre, Le Jour où Nina Simone a cessé de chanter. Elle est également auteure de scénarios et de concepts télévisés. Elle vit aujourd’hui entre Paris et Le Caire.
Born in 1968, in Beirut, Lebanon. Darina Al Joundi began to perform on stage at the age of 8. Her father is a Syrian writer and politician, Hassem Al Joundi, to whom she dedicated her first theatre play, ‘The Day where Nina Simone stopped singing’. She is also the author of a number of screenplays and television concepts.
